IDEC & MSAE: Meet Our Academic Director

Join Professor Peter Lorentzen for an interactive information session to learn more about the University of San Francisco’s MS in International and Development Economics (IDEC) and MS in Applied Economics (MSAE) programs.

This session will provide an overview of both programs, their distinct academic focuses, available scholarship and funding opportunities, and the diverse career paths they prepare students for.

About the Presenter:

Peter Lorentzen is an Associate Professor and former Chair of the Economics Department at the University of San Francisco. He holds a PhD in Economics from Stanford University and specializes in the political economy of China, development economics, and applied microeconomics. His research has been published in leading academic journals, and he brings a wealth of insight and experience to the conversation on economics in global and development contexts.
